Welcome to KK BioNano Laboratory
We are an interdisciplinary research group with graduate students, undergraduate students and researchers from various backgrounds (biology, chemistry, biochemistry, biomedical science and material science etc.) working together with motivation to explore in nano-world!! Our lab focuses on the design, synthesis, and engineering of nanoparticles (NPs) e.g. polymeric nanoparticles, liposomes, superparamagnetic nanoparticles (SPIONs), and quantum dots (QDs) for biomedical, biotechnology, and food applications. We are also interested in fundamental knowledge on bio-nano interface, where we study nanoparticle stability, NPs-proteins and NPs-cellular interactions in different biological fluids.
